The Sea Collective

Meitheal na mara

The Sea Collective is a social enterprise based in Gaoth Dobhair, Co. Donegal. This beautiful region, situated on the northwest coast of the Wild Atlantic Way, boasts incredible marine biodiversity and a strong maritime culture and heritage. The Sea Collective hopes to help preserve this by engaging people in the incredible marine biodiversity in this area, as well as encouraging participants to share their own knowledge and stories.

We provide opportunities for people to connect with, share knowledge and learn more about the ocean through participation in a variety of activities tailored for schools, youth clubs,  community centres, tourists and businesses.

Cuirimid deiseanna ar fáil do dhaoine dul i dtaithí ar an fharraige, eolas a roinnt agus tuilleadh a fhoghlaim. Chuige seo tá gníomhaíochtaí deartha againn do scoileanna, clubanna óige, ionaid phobail, turasóirí agus do ghnólachtaí.

Through developing and facilitating programmes that engage people in marine biodiversity, citizen science and heritage activities, The Sea Collective enable people to reap the physical and mental health benefits from blue spaces, while inspiring and nurturing curiosity and responsibility for our oceans and our ocean heritage.
